Bjarke Myrthu

On a mission to unleash the power of media and push the limits of storytelling with visuals, audio and interactivity.

Bjarke has one clear mission since the early days of his career: Digital media should be much, much more than factual news and static text. The power of media must be unleashed, and the limits of storytelling must be pushed by using visuals, audio and interactivity. Media should be taken seriously by creating stories that matter, stories that educate and stories that reach both the heart and the brain of audiences. To realize this mission, Bjarke is committed to innovate and invent new content formats, new tools and new business models

Before Bjarke launched Storyplanet he co-founded Magnum In Motion. He is also the producer of several award winning online documentaries, and author of the book The Digital Storyteller. Bjarke frequently lectures and conducts workshops in digital storytelling.
