Tega Brain

Australian born artist whose eccentric engineering asks questions of ecology, perceptions of environment and computation.

Tega Brain is an Australian born artist whose work takes the form of site specific installations, dysfunctional devices, experimental infrastructures and information systems. She has recently exhibited work at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, the Science Gallery Dublin, Eyebeam in New York City and Chronus Art Center, Shanghai. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Art in America, The Atlantic, NPR, Al Jazeera, Bavarian Broadcasting, The Guardian, Reuters, RTL Television, Germany, the Observer and in art and technology blogs like the Creators Project and the New Aesthetic. She has given talks and workshops at museums and festivals like EYEO, TedxSydney and the Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
