Life Underground

Encounter passengers and hear their personal stories of love, dreams, family, and migration in this interactive documentary.

Life Underground is an interactive web documentary that takes viewers on a journey through the subways of the world and into the minds of their passengers. Shot in over 13 city subways, including Paris, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Santiago, etc. viewers are invited to curate their own journey, virtually traveling from city to city, across continents and oceans. Along the way, they encounter passengers and hear their personal stories of love, dreams, family, and migration. Life Underground challenges our notion of public and private space and reminds us that beneath the surface, we’re all connected.
