This interactive documentary allows users to virtually explore one of Toronto’s most multicultural and vibrant neighbourhoods.

Delve into the stories of immigrant small business owners in “The World in Ten Blocks”, an interactive documentary that allows users to virtually explore one of Toronto’s most multicultural and vibrant neighbourhoods. Immersed in the sights and sounds of Bloorcourt, users travel the street and enter various businesses, from bakery to butcher, shoe cobbler to tattoo parlour, “meeting” the owners and gaining insight into their immigration experiences and entrepreneurial journeys through multimedia narratives. “The World in Ten Blocks” provides a glimpse into some of the hidden stories of sacrifice and hardship, triumph and joy behind the world’s most diverse city.
