Offshore VR

Offshore VR takes its audience into a derelict, shattered drill platform far away in some unspecified ocean where something has gone terribly wrong.

Part mystery, part creepy horror-show, this documentary examines the potentials and ramifications of deep water oil extraction. The project connects VR, webVR, and large screen projection to create an experience that encompasses several levels of immersion. The VR experience envelops one viewer, and which in turn is linked to a large screen version, turning a private 360 view into a outwardly shared cinematic experience.

Experience Offshore VR using Google Cardboard by downloading the app on iOS and Android.
