The Wagner Files – Interactive Graphic Novel (App)

Love him or hate him.

Richard Wagner is one of the most controversial composers of all times. To explore him in a compelling and innovative way, gebrueder beetz filmproduction developed the interactive Graphic Novel “The Wagner Files”: An app that merges animations, videos, historical documents and photographs. It tells the story of fraud, evasion, adultery and anti-Semitism. The app is part of a cross-media format, consisting of the Graphic Novel “Wagner“ (print) and the documentary “The Wagner Files“. The mixture of these three platforms make “The Wagner Files” a unique project that shows how cultural content can be told all new.
