DocLab Live 3: A Showcase by Zach Wise (NYTimes.com)

Zach Wise, the multimedia producer spearheading the groundbreaking projects by New York Times online, showcases his favorite online documentaries and multimedia-projects during a live presentation.

Besides screwing up the business models of the newspaper industry, television and other ‘old media’, internet and digital media are also giving us amazing new forms of visual art and documentary storytelling. Zach Wise is someone who knows this better than anyone else. As multimedia producer at the New York Times he can cherry-pick from the best of both worlds, combining the best of ‘old media’ journalism with the latest in multimedia storytelling and technology.

Zach Wise is one of the main guests of IDFA DocLab 2010. On Monday 22 Nov, he will host a live cinema screening, showcasing his favorite online documentaries and multimedia-projects. On Tuesday 23 Nov, he will give a keynote during the IDFA DocLab Presentation – Back to the Future.
