Thijs Vuure studied biology and philosophy at the Vrije Universiteit and the Research Master Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. Additionally he studied composition and instrumental playing at the School of the Arts, and he makes music (Hit me TV, Monsieur leFeu). In his project ‘What is it like to be a bird?’ he combines his interests in science, art, and philosophy, and he tries to generate questions and answers from this interdisciplinary perspective.
